Dan Zilai, |
Dan is currently serving PMI Calumet as Calumet Chapter President and previously held the VP of Technology and Treasurer roles for the organization. He is also a dual member and experienced Past President of PMI Northeast Indiana; and a dual member of the Chicagoland Chapter. Dan is also nominated for PMI Calumet Chapter President for 2021-2022. He is also very active with PMI Region 2 and has plenty of contacts globally around the profession. Over the last year, Dan has been responsible for authoring and implementing the PMI Calumet Technology Initiative as well as chapter Webmaster. Dan has been a member of PMI since 2002 and obtained his PMP® in 2006. In his career, Dan has also been a chapter member and/or attended events: PMI Tulsa, PMI Portland, PMI Sacramento Valley, PMI San Francisco (Golden Gate), PMI Silicon Valley and PMI Chicagoland. Mr. Zilai has over 30 years of projects and Project Management experience, a wealth of practical knowledge, and is familiar with PMI inter-workings. He has also volunteered as a Mentor and Coach, Professional Development Days Director, Volunteer champion, Marketing and Communications team member, Nominating Committee member, Agile Hybrid beta tester and continues to passionately promote the PMI Calumet Chapter as a leader and local author. |

Michael Krouse, |
Mike has senior-level security & management experience in the healthcare IT and financial industries. He also has experience in insurance as an IT Audit Manager and Director of the Project Management Office. Within the community, Mike is the Treasurer of the Northeast Indiana Chapter of the Information System Security Association (ISSA) and the Past President and Region 2 Liaison for the Northeast Indiana Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI). He was also on the Board of the Fort Wayne Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). He volunteers with Junior Achievement and Real Men Read. Mike and his wife, Lorie, are very proud of their 2 children and enjoy their 4 grandchildren. |

Jay Thomas, |
Jermaine (“Jay”) has been a PMI volunteer since 2011, and a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification holder since 2014. As a PMI volunteer and member of the Board, Mr. Thomas has been a vital contributor towards the overall growth and achievement of chapter goals through strategic planning and execution. Jay currently works at NIPSCO as a leader for their electric distribution area holding several leadership positions in finance, customer service, gas, and electric. Mr. Thomas is also a recognized leader in education, having taught multiple disciplines in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Communications, and Microsoft Office Suites, for Ivy Tech and Keller Graduate School of Management. He has worked with and mentored youths and founded a youth organization called HYPE (Helping Young People through Education). As a graduate of Indiana University and a graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management, Mr. Thomas holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, a Masters in Project Management, and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting. |

Jason Romero, |
Jason is a Program Manager for Eaton's Data Center segment. Previously, he was a Superintendent for their data center construction. In his current role, Jason is responsible for coordination with all Project Managers and Field Labor across all projects to maintain consistency for the client. He obtained his PMP® in 2015. Jason has been a member of PMI Calumet chapter since 2016. |

Jonathan Harris,
|
Jon has been a PMI member since 2010 after earning the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification. As a Project Manager and more recently Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Jon has been involved in the field since 2007 and leading projects since 2010. He has served as a Consultant and Contractor to various industries, including Financial Services, Insurance, and the Public Sector. Jon is excited to join the PMI Calumet Chapter Board to help local project leaders take charge and advance their careers through becoming more involved with PMI. He has 3 children, one in high school, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. Jon enjoys traveling with his family, along with reading a wide range of books from Investing, Psychology, Fiction and (basic) Physics. |

Tyler Lennox Bush |
Tyler is a very innovative creative professional with a proven history of success producing projects while designing principles and production processes as well as inspiring teams and performers while efficiently maintaining inventory, gear, and budgets. Throughout his career, he has recruited, trained, mentored, and directed cross-functional teams to increase professional and creative development. He is an outstanding coach with interpersonal skills to inspire as well as client relationship, partnership opportunities with all levels of management, and organizational capabilities to deliver best-in-class service and innovative outcomes. Mr. Bush is currently working for MECA Engineering Corp. of America and Two in the Bush Television Co. He previously has worked as an Adjunct Professor for Ivy Tech Community College, a Program Director and Asst. Professor at Calumet College of St. Joseph and Graphic Designer at DePaul University. Brand Development, Creative Direction and Social Media Marketing are just some of Tyler’s Power Skills. |

Karen Teeter, |
Karen is a self-motivated, compassionate and purpose driven leader with a solid project and process management skillset in technology and delivery organizations. She coaches and encourages all individuals to achieve their company’s goals and objectives, while at the same time ensuring personal growth and development. Karen has over 20 years of solid project management experience deployed through a variety of roles within Industry and currently working as a Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. She received her PMP® in 2005, served as the PMI Calumet Chapter Vice President from August 2011 – August 2014 and is excited to be part of the revitalized Chapter. Karen has two college age children and volunteers with the Lake County CASA Organization. When free time presents itself, she enjoys biking, cooking, boating, reading, traveling and scrapbooking. |

Kelly Lanigan |
Kelly is currently serving as the VP of Community Outreach after a few years being the VP of Membership. She enjoys volunteering and sharing knowledge with others, so this is a meaningful way for our professional chapter to get involved in our local community. Kelly is a Project Manager at IBM, where she has worked for 17 years. Since she has been working from home most of that time, Kelly really values the chance to connect with other local members. If you’re a fellow member and looking to 'Get Involved,' a new PM, new to the area, whatever, please reach out! Kelly has been a member of PMI and PMI Calumet since about 2011 when she became PMP® Certified. |

Leticia Muse, |
Leticia has been a PMI member since 2006, and a certified Project Manager (PMP®) with over 15 years of project management experience. Leticia received her B.S. in Computer Science from DeVry Institute and has over 30-years of experience in Information Technology with a strong association to the insurance industry. She is experienced in team building, facilitation, analysis and managing multiple projects. Leticia has dual membership as she joined PMI Calumet in 2017 and PMI Chicagoland Chapter in 2005. She has served PMI Chicagoland community as a volunteer for registration, program events and Director of Membership Relations 2010 thru 2014. Additionally, she is currently a Portfolio Manager at Allstate Insurance for Application and Risk Management. Leticia is married with three children and three grandchildren. Leticia enjoys volunteering, mentoring, ministering and serving as an Eagles International Training Institute (EITI) Administrator and TEN IL Central Teacher. |
